This meditation can be a real eye and heart opener. Whether you feel awakened by this meditation or are still in the compassion-building process, honor the inner work you just went through and recognize you have stretched your heartâs ability to connect through compassion.
Todayâs reflection question can be done right now or later today. Sometimes it is most effective to sit with these reflection questions as you move through your day, and even notice what comes up as you actively live the questions.

Donât be afraid to let your heart stretch and connect today! When you are ready to journal with todayâs contemplation, make sure to take a deep breath, connect to your heart space, and then let the words begin to fly onto the page.
COMPASSION IN ACTION
You may have guessed it already, or perhaps your natural understanding of these practices is starting to kick in and become more confident. Just Like Me is a profound practice to bring with you out into your day. Without exception, see if you can see the world through the eyes of compassion and relate to others with a heart full of karuna by recognizing all of the ways others are just like you, navigating this oh-so-human experience. Today, each time you see someone doing something that you might have previously judged as right or wrong, or good or bad, note to yourself, âJust like me, this person [or insert their name if you know it] wants to be _________ [insert feeling, emotion or quality of the heart].
